Landmine Squat
A front-loaded squat holding the end of a landmine bar at your chest. The bar's arc acts as a counterweight, so most people squat deeper and more upright than they can with a barbell.

How to Perform
- 1
Wedge one end of a barbell into a landmine and load the other end.
- 2
Stand facing the bar and cradle the loaded end at your chest with both hands.
- 3
Squat down, letting the bar travel toward you as your hips drop.
- 4
Drive back up through your heels to standing.
Tips
- ★Let the bar stay close to your body - holding it away turns it into a front raise.
- ★A good first loaded squat for someone still learning the pattern.
