How to Perform
- 1
Sit on the floor with your legs straight out in front and your feet flexed.
- 2
Sit up tall and hinge forward from the hips rather than rounding your back.
- 3
Reach toward your feet and stop where the stretch is firm but comfortable.
- 4
Hold and breathe, letting the range increase slowly.
Tips
- ★Hinge from the hips - rounding the back gives the illusion of range without stretching the hamstrings.
- ★Sit on a folded towel to tilt your pelvis forward if you cannot get upright.
