Treadmill Incline Walk

Walking uphill on a treadmill. Gets the heart rate of a run out of a walk, with none of the impact, and it hits the glutes doing it.

How to Perform
  1. 1

Set the treadmill to a brisk walking pace and raise the incline.

  2. 2

Walk tall with your arms swinging naturally.

  3. 3

Hold the pace and incline for your target time or distance.

  4. 4

Bring the incline down for the last few minutes to cool off.

Tips
  • Hands off the rails. Holding on takes most of the work out of it.
  • Raise the incline before the speed - that is where the glute work comes from.
