How to Perform
  1. 1

Wedge one end of a barbell into a landmine and load the other end.

  2. 2

Stand facing the bar and bring the loaded end up to shoulder height with one or both hands.

  3. 3

Press the bar up and away from you until your arm is straight, following the arc the bar wants to travel.

  4. 4

Lower it back to your shoulder under control.

Tips
  • Let the bar travel on its arc rather than fighting it into a vertical path.
  • Squeeze your glutes and brace your core so the press does not turn into a back arch.
